Maharashtra is facing acute power crisis. Farmers, students even the industry sector is affected by the power crisis as the shortage has now swelled to 5000 MW. Yet, state's ministers remain totally unfazed. An RTI inquiry reveals that the power bills of several Cabinet ministers have doubled over the last one year.
