Senior BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis's announcement that he will not be part of the new Maharashtra government, has been overturned by the BJP's Central leadership. Shortly after his announcement this evening that Shiv Sena rebel Eknath Shinde will be the new Chief Minister, BJP chief JP Nadda said the Central leadership has decided that he should be part of the government.
