Union Minister Piyush Goyal, in an exclusive interaction with NDTV, took a swipe at Congress and said that the party will be the worst performer in the Maharashtra elections owing to internal rift between the state and the central unit. "The congress is in the worst situation in the state. The local leadership is also crestfallen. They had very high hopes of being the dominant partner. I believe there's huge friction within the Congress, between the state unit and the central unit of the party. They are a very, very unhappy and disgruntled lot. My own sense is amongst all the parties in this election, the worst performing will be the Congress," said Mr Goyal.
