Maharashtra puts lid on Deshdrohi
The Maharashtra government has banned the small-time but heavily promoted film Deshdrohi on the grounds that it will escalate tension in the state. The film deals with the issue of migrants in the state but the timing of its release, as it comes soon after a recent spate of troubles, had the state worried.
