Maharashtra's 'Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana': Beneficiaries To Get Rs 1,500 Per Month

Five lakh women in Maharashtra are daily filling out the forms of 'Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana'. However, many find the process tedious. The last date to fill out the form is August 31. Under 'Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana', eligible women from all sections of society will be given a benefit of Rs 1,500 for which women should apply by August 31. Deputy Chief Minister and Pune District Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar assured that no eligible women in the state will be deprived of the benefits of this scheme. 'Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana' is an ambitious scheme and a provision of Rs 46 thousand crores has been made for this scheme for one year. Eligible women between the age group of 21 to 65 years with income up to Rs 2.5 lakh should apply online for this scheme. To apply offline, women should contact the Anganwadis, supervisor, gram sevak etc in the village. After applying, the list of eligible beneficiaries will be released.
