Maharashtra's Onion Farmers Suffer After Price Crash

Onion farmers in Maharashtra continue to suffer due to a crash in the prices of the crop in wholesale markets across the state. Prices have crashed to as low as Rs 2 per keg. In a desperate move, Mahadev Nivritti Jadhav, an onion farmer in Carla village in Latur, fed his onion harvest to the cattle he owns.(Video credit: PTI)
