Speaking at the NDTV-Dettol Banega Swasth India's Lakshya - Sampoorn Swasthya Ka telethon, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said the Maharashtra government prioritised healthcare and worked towards the betterment of the sector. He said that strengthening primary health care (PHC) and ensuring better services would also remain in the government's focus. "It's important to get primary healthcare for people. Our government is a government for common people. We will double the budget for health," Mr Shinde said.
