Maharashtra Train Accident | CM Fadnavis Announces Compensation Of ₹5 Lakh For Deceaseds' Families
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has expressed sorrow over the train accident that killed at least 11 in Maharashtra's Jalgaon distrcit. He said, "Our minister Girish Mahajan has reached the location. Initial investigation suggests 10-11 people are dead and several are injured. All necessary arrangements have been made to take care of those injured and I have spoken to the authorities in charge to understand the situation better. Families of those who lost their lives in the accident will receive ex-gratia of rupees 5 lakh each from the Maharashtra government. Injured passengers will also receive free treatment. Families of those injured will also receive all necessary facilities to help them."
