Mahatma divided society: Mayawati
In a controversial statement UP Chief Minister Mayawati said it was B R Ambedkar and not Mahatma Gandhi, who worked to erase caste from Indian society. She went on to say that Gandhi's use of the term Harijan was against the Constitution.
