Major Changes to Green Laws in Budget Session: Environment Minister to NDTV
Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar tells NDTV that the government will bring about sweeping changes to all the environmental laws and put in place an altogether new green architecture in 2015 which will balance development and sustainability goals. He says amendments to green laws are expected in the Budget Session. The new regime will have firm laws, clear rules and transparent processes so that courts don't have to intervene.
