Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai has called for an immediate de-escalation of tensions as the Israel-Hamas war entered its 12th day. "Collective punishment is not the answer," Ms Yousafzai said. "Half of Gaza's population is below the age of 18. They should not be forced to live their entire lives under bombings."
