Malnutrition in Centre's backyard
As the debate over soaring food prices and food security make national headlines, India's national planners of food policy would do well to take a walk through the streets of the country's capital city. Malnutrition amongst Delhi's vast population of urban poor is rampant, and the worst hit are the children of construction workers, hundreds of whom sleep hungry every night.
