Mamata Banerjee Launches Women-Centric Welfare Schemes In Sandeshkhali
In a move to reach out to women voters, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee announced several women-centric schemes while addressing the public in Sandeshkhali. She also hit out at BJP for 'paying money to create narratives' against Trinamool Congress. In February TMC's Sheikh Shahjahan and its other leaders came under scrutiny when several Sandeshkhali women accused Sheikh Shahjahan and men related to him of alleged sexual abuse and land grab.
