The back and forth between protesting doctors and the Bengal administration continues, following the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at RG Kar College and Hospital in Kolkata. The doctors responded to an email from the administration, which said they will not accept an invitation to meet senior officials, until their demands are met. For starters, they want the entire meeting to be telecast and 30 doctors to attend. The state government said they want the situation to be resolved, but for that the doctors want an open mind.
