Mamata has shattered the dreams of Bengal: Narendra Modi
If anyone had thought Narendra Modi was coming to Sreerampore only to give a last minute leg up to BJP candidates facing polls on April 30, they were mistaken. Mr Modi used Sreerampore to rip into Mamata Banerjee's government, accusing her of doing more damage to Bengal in 35 months than the Left had done in 34 years. In his multipronged attack, the sharpest was on the Saradha chit fund scam. He warned that once his government came to power, the scam would be thoroughly investigated and the culprits brought to book.
