Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee opened her innings as an opposition party leader with a protest rally against the government's new reforms on the streets of Delhi today. Straightaway attacking FDI in retail, she said that the government's reform policy was against farmers and those running small shops and businesses. "This is a government for itself, of itself, with itself... The CBI is being misused against those who raise their voice. But we are not scared, we will go to jail, we will give up our lives," she said, as the medium-sized crowd cheered her. "Everything has a laxman rekha (limit), it that is crossed, I must work for the aam aadmi (common man)."
