Man, woman paraded semi-naked, allegedly on orders of panchayat
Twenty people have been arrested from a village in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, where a man and a woman were reportedly humiliated and paraded semi-naked on orders of the local panchayat. On Monday, the police said, the 35-year-old woman and her 30-year-old neighbour were detained by villagers, who then blackened their faces, tied their hands and paraded them.
