A primary school remains empty as people leave for safety amid heavy rain in Manali's Aalu Mandi town in Himachal Pradesh. The school building has been damaged by rainwater. In one of the classrooms, fresh paintings made by students just before the rain are visible. But there is only an eerie silence now.
