NPP Launches Its Poll Campaign In Manipur
Shifting focus to poll bound Manipur where Conrad Sangma-led NPP - the only political party from Northeast with a national party status like that of the BJP and the Congress - seems to have taken a lead in the campaign over the two national biggies, positioning itself as the alternative to ally BJP and traditional opponent, the Congress, with similar national ambitions as that of Arvind Kejriwal's AAP and Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool's push in Goa.
