"Fought In Kargil But...": Army Veteran Whose Wife Was Paraded Naked In Manipur

The husband of one of two women paraded naked and molested by a group of men in Manipur is a Kargil war veteran, who was also part of Indian Peace Keeping Force in Sri Lanka and after retirement settled back in Manipur. Addressing a press conference, the retired army official rued that though he protected the country but could not save his wife from being humiliated. He raised serious questions on the role of Manipur police alleging that his wife and others were taken away by the mob from police vehicle and the cops did not take any action.
