Thousands Of Women Protest In Manipur Over Violence
Thousands of women, dressed in black, held a protest in Manipur's Churachandpur protesting against the sexual assault case during ethnic clashes in the state. At least 125 people have been killed and more than 40,000 have fled their homes in Manipur since the violence erupted on May 3. In the horrific video that surfaced two women were stripped and forced to walk naked, surrounded by a mob that dragged them to a field and allegedly gang-raped one of them.
