Political Showdown After Opposition Alliance's Manipur Visit
The political slugfest between the opposition and the Centre has only intensified after the 2-day visit of the multi-party delegation of the I.N.D.I.A. alliance to the violence-hit state. While the opposition has called the Prime Minister's silence on Manipur 'brazen indifference' to the situation in the strife-torn state, the Centre says the opposition is disrupting the Parliament deliberately even when the government is ready for a discussion on the situation in Manipur.
