As 2015 comes to a close, Maharashtra has recorded the maximum number of farmers suicides this year; over 1,000 of them in Marathwada. BJP leader from Beed constituency Pankaja Munde has talked of an Israel-style agricultural revolution, optimizing water and irrigation in drought hit areas. Will shifting to newer technologies reduce their burden?
