Markets Break 8-day Losing Streak, Settle With Marginal Gains
Equity benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty, ended flat on Monday amid global trade uncertainties, weak corporate earnings, and foreign fund outflows. The 30-share BSE Sensex recovered 57 points to settle at 75,996; while the NSE Nifty gained 30 points to close at 22,959. From the Sensex pack Bajaj Finserv, IndusInd Bank, Power Grid Corporation, Adani Ports and Ultra Tech Cement were the top gainers; whereas Mahindra and Mahindra, Bharti Airtel, TCS, Infosys and ICICI Bank were among the top losers.
