Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest passenger car maker, has reopened its Manesar facility and begun production after a near month-long lockout post clashes between workers and management on July 18. RC Bhargava, chairman of Maruti Suzuki, says that the company looks to produce 150 cars per day against full capacity of 1500-1700 cars a day earlier. It will slowly ramp up production, he adds.
