Massive Opposition Protest As Rahul Gandhi Directs MPs To Step Into The Well
PM Modi's Motion of Thanks to the President's address in Lok Sabha was interrupted by loud slogans from the opposition. Their ruckus and commotion continued through the entirety of PM Modi's speech. However, new videos from inside the House have revealed two very different political aspects of the House. On one side, Leader of the Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, can be seen signalling something to the MPs near him. After his animated instructions, some of the MPs step down into the Well of the House to continue their chants against PM Modi. On the other end, PM Modi takes a breather when someone serves him a glass of water. However, the prime minister offers that glass of water to the opposition MPs standing at the lower level, and chanting against him. One of the MPs takes the water and can be seen smiling, maybe saying thanks?
