MATH CEO Speaks To NDTV As PM Pitches India As Global AI Leader
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India will lead the world in artificial intelligence and asked startups to work on Indian solutions to global challenges so that leadership of AI capabilities remains with India. The PM said AI offers limitless possibilities to young innovators and global investors. Towards this end, the Centre's Department of Science and Technology (DST) has launched a Machine-learning and AI Technology Hub, called MATH, at T-Hub - the country's leading startup incubator in Hyderabad - to foster innovation, create jobs, and nurture startups. NDTV's Uma Sudhir spoke exclusively with MATH CEO Rahul Paith and T-Hub CEO M Srinivas Rao about the roadmap to turn the PM's vision into reality.
