Maha Kumbh, one of the country's biggest religious festivals in progress, was used by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today to hit out at the opposition. Pointing to 2013 Kumbh, when Akhilesh Yadav was Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath claimed that the then Mauritian Prime Minister, Pravind Jugnauth, avoided taking a dip in the Ganga due to pollution and filth. "In 2013, when the Prime Minister of Mauritius came to India to take a holy dip in the Ganga, he went back after seeing pollution, filth, and mismanagement during the Kumbh. He had tears in his eyes and said is this the Ganga?" Yogi Adityanath told NDTV.
