May Need To Revise Dosing Gap, Tweak Vaccines Based On Variants: AIIMS Chief
Dosing regimen for vaccines is an evolving science and thus, needs to be revised based on efficacy and availability of vaccines, says AIIMS chief Dr Randeep Guleria. Talking about Pfizer's diminished efficacy against the Delta variant, he said vaccines may need to be tweaked in the future but that with over 90 per cent efficacy, Pfizer will work in India.
