Mayawati introduces UPCOCA
The Mayawati government in Uttar Pradesh today introduced a tough legislation to prevent, tackle and control organised crime and its links with terrorism with death penalty as the maximum punishment. Before she became Chief Minister for the fourth time, Mayawati indicated that each political party in the state needs the mafia.
