Mayawati's statues to be draped today on Election Commission's order
The elephant motifs and her four-faced statues in the company of Dalit greats were Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati's attempt at attaining immortality. But that seems to have run into a roadblock, albeit a temporary one, as the structures across the state will be draped today as per orders of the Election Commission (EC).
