Medha Bhatt, An Artist And Advocate Of Zero Waste
45-year-old Medha Bhatt joined the National Institute of Design (NID) after class 12. As part of her graduation project, she was documenting Rann of Kutch Applique textiles of Rajput communities. The research involved going from village to village, collecting and documenting old textiles of applique. And that is when she was introduced to the art of using fabric waste through 'Applique'.
