Journalist Jigna Vora's arrest in November 2011 in connection with the J Dey murder case had sparked a controversy in Mumbai. Mr Dey, a crime reporter, was shot dead by men who came on a motorcycle. In November that year, Ms Vora was arrested for allegedly being a part of the conspiracy to kill him. She was subsequently acquitted in the case. Now for the first time, she speaks in an exclusive interview to NDTV. "I knew that nothing would happen because I was innocent. But I was a bit apprehensive of media pressure because the media can make or break someone," she said. "The media was totally against me. But I'm very grateful to the Indian judiciary for upholding the truth. Even today, eight years later, I wonder why I was targeted, I will never know. Many journalists have spoken to Chhota Rajan," Ms Vora said.
