Under directions of the Bombay High Court, for the first time an insurance cover exclusively for people who cannot afford health care has been introduced. Last week the state charity commissioner had issued show casue notices to 86 hospitals in Maharashtra including 11 in Mumbai for not granting concessions to poor patients.
