Meet Nigar Shaji, ISRO's "Sunny Lady" And Project Director Of Aditya L1
India's maiden solar observatory Aditya L1 will reach its destination on January 6. After the nearly 126-day journey, Aditya L1 will settle down in orbit 1.5 million kilometres from Earth and will have a continuous view of the Sun. ISRO says the satellite is healthy and that scientific results have already started flowing in. The satellite will help protect the over 50 Indian satellites already in Earth's orbit that are worth over Rs 50,000 crore.
