Congress' Vijay Vasanth On His Journey From Acting To Politics
Speaking exclusively to NDTV, Vijay Vasanth, Congress MP from Kanyakumari gave details of his journey from acting to politics. Mr Vasanth said his father was also a Member of Parliament from the constituency and he used to help him out. He contested the byelections after his father died during Covid. The MP said he is from a business family which owns 120 consumer electronics stores and they also have a Tamil satellite channel, Vasanth TV. He said he is also an actor and has done 10-12 movies.
