Meet Sandeep Nanduri, an IAS Officer From Tamil Nadu
Sandeep Nanduri, an IAS officer from the Tamil Nadu cadre of 2009 is the brain behind Cafe Able, a bustling space run by 12 people with disabilities. He says, the motivation for the cafe came from the numerous petitions that he would receive from people with disabilities, either asking for pensions from the government or employment. In order to boost their confidence, and entrepreneurial spirit and promote self-reliance, he helped candidates enroll in a 45-day training course in cooking, catering and baking. His work got him the title of 'True Legend' in the Governance category for NDTV - 100 Pipers True Legend, Future Of Young India, awards.
