Lakhs of Sikhs from across the country are at Nanded in Maharashtra on Thursday for the celebration of the 300th anniversary since the Guru Granth Sahib was declared a holy book for the Sikhs. One of the highlights of the occasion is over 35 Punjabi langars or community meals each catering to over a 1000 people in a single go. It is a great mix of economics and service all rolled into one.
