If campaigns were a contest, Meghalaya would have surely won the quietest and cleanest election campaign in the country. NDTV travelled for more than 200 km within the state to come to Meghalaya and did not find a single flag, banner, poster or vehicles loaded with campaigners - something that one usually sees in the run-up to any polls.
