Merging subsidiaries a best option for Vedanta: Rakesh Arora

Rakesh Arora, MD & Head of Research at Macquarie Capital Securities (India) told NDTV Profit that the re-structuring for debt servicing of global mining major Vedanta Resources PLC is essential. "Expect markets to be positively surprised by Vedanta re-structuring and the re-structuring is likely to be in interest of minority shareholders," he said adding that the best option for the company would be to merge most subsidiaries together.
