Metro Footfall Crosses 10 Million-Mark, Annual Ridership Over 1 Billion
The daily metro across the country has already crossed the 10 million mark and is expected to exceed 12.5 million in a year or two. Nearly all metro rail systems in the country are generating operational profits. In the Delhi Metro network, for example, daily ridership has already gone beyond 7 million.
