Can a company execute a Rs 12,000 crore project with just Rs 5 lakh in its pocket? The Andhra Pradesh government always believed that Maytas, promoted by the Ramalinga Raju family, could pull off a miracle. Even though the Hyderabad Metro Rail project was awarded to Maytas Metro Limited, a consortium of four companies, its shares worth Rs 5 lakh are being held only by Ramalinga Raju's son, Teja Raju and his firm, Maytas Infra.
