Mid-size hotels eye overseas expansion
Taking a cue from top rung hoteliers Indian Hotels and Oberoi, the mid sized players are now in a rush to check into international markets. The reason for their global ambitions could also be the sky high real estate prices back home. Hotel Kamat Holiday Homes Resort, Goa, plans to build two new hotels in China and is also looking at opportunities in Thailand and Singapore.
