Over the weekend, panic spread among the migrant workers in the southern state over reports and videos on social media alleging attacks. Later, a probe revealed that old videos were circulated to claim attacks. Now, police in both Tamil Nadu and Bihar have cracked down on those responsible for the rumour-mongering.
