Migrants Need Financial Security In City And Social Security In Villages: Chinmay Tumbe
Chinmay Tumbe, Assistant Professor, IIM Ahmedabad and Author of 'India Moving - A History Of Migration' lent his support to the #RebuildingLives telethon. He highlighted how even in the past pandemic, there were similar episodes of migrant workers’ crisis. He asserted at the telethon that the migrant communities need financial security in the city and social security in villages.
