Mile Sur...Celebrating India's diversity
Nehru was sworn in as the Prime Minister of India 61 years back but it was in 1988 that O&M made India's 'second' national anthem of sorts. 40 years after independence, Mile Sur Mera Tumhara caught on really fast and stayed. With icons like Amitabh Bachchan and Lata Mangeshkar and in it, the song had all the musicians, singers and sportsmen who represented their time.
