Milkha Singh calls Arjuna Awards 'bogus'

Indian sporting legend Milkha Singh has criticized the fashion in which Arjuna awardees are picked, saying certain athletes are awarded just to keep various association officials pleased. In 2000, Milkha had refused the award when he found he was on the same level as a gymnast with no international experience and a sacked hockey coach.
