Lakhs and lakhs of students in schools and colleges, across streams, every year, go through those harrowing few days when they have to appear in exams. While the exam day anxiety could be a result of various reasons; the argument here is the manner in which we assess learning is perhaps not right, and memory based exams add to the unnecessary pressure on students.
