Ministers Meet Punjab Farmers Who Threatened Tractor March To Delhi
Three union ministers are meeting the farmers of Punjab. The meeting is taking place in Chandigarh. Ministers from the Union Cabinet Arjun Munda and Piyush Goyal are at this meeting with farmer leaders' associations and their heads. Now this is after farmers have threatened a tractor march on February 13, stating that the government is yet to fulfil the guarantees and the assurances that were given as far as the MSP is concerned. Pension for farmers is another issue along with crop insurance. The government is taking no chances. And that's why ministers are talking to the farmers before the agitation begins.
