NDTV Exclusive: Congress To Win 20-24 Seats In Mizoram, Says Shashi Tharoor
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor spoke exclusively to NDTV's Ratnadip Choudhury and said that Mizoram would be the first state to bring his party back to power in the northeast. Asked if the upcoming assembly polls in Mizoram is an election of "revival" for Congress in the northeast, the Thiruvananthapuram MP said "yes". "I don't believe any particular state election anywhere in the country is a make or break election for Congress," he said. Mr Tharoor also claimed that the Congress will win at least 20-24 seats in the November 7 Mizoram elections.
